Short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't use ad trackers, and we never sell your data.
Waitlist emails
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the city you picked (if any), the page you signed up from, the time of signup and your approximate country (from Cloudflare's network, not your IP address, which we don't store). We use this only to tell you about HighAbroad launches, guides and law-change alerts you asked for. The data is stored on Cloudflare (Workers KV). Every email we send has an unsubscribe option. To delete your data at any time, email hello@highabroad.com.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies, use local storage or fingerprint you, and it does not track you across sites. It collects aggregate data such as the page URL, referrer, browser type, country and performance timings.
Cookies
HighAbroad does not set any cookies. If we add payments later, the payment provider may set cookies needed for checkout, and we'll update this page before that happens.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site under its own privacy policy.
